Humantay Lake Tour
- Pick-up from Cusco & Breakfast in Mollepata (04:30 – 05:00 AM)
Begin with an early morning pick-up from Cusco, then drive to Mollepata, where you’ll enjoy a nutritious breakfast before continuing toward the trailhead. - Drive to Soraypampa (Trek Starting Point)
After breakfast, continue to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft), the starting point of the hike. Your guide will provide important trekking information before the ascent. - Hike to Humantay Lake (Approx. 1.5 – 2 hours)
Begin your moderate uphill hike to Humantay Lake (4,200 m / 13,780 ft). As you ascend, take in spectacular views of the Salkantay and Humantay glaciers. - Arrival at Humantay Lake
Enjoy the stunning views of the turquoise lake, reflecting the snow-capped peaks of Humantay Mountain. Take time for photography, meditation, and exploration. Your guide will share the lake’s significance in Andean culture. - Return to Soraypampa & Lunch in Mollepata
